The wet season, also known as the rainy season, typically spans from May to November. During this period:

The wet season is also the time when the Caribbean experiences its hurricane season, with the highest risk of tropical storms and hurricanes from August to October. But don't worry! The wet season can still be an excellent time to visit, especially if you're looking for fewer crowds and lower prices. Just be prepared for some rain and possible stormy weather.

Note that December might see a few rainy days, but January and February are usually dry and sunny. 

Spring Caribbean Weather

Spring, from March to May, brings slightly warmer temperatures. March and April are generally dry with lots of sunshine. By May, the weather starts to warm up and you might see occasional showers. So, be sure to plan for indoor activities on your vacation or have go-to indoor hobbies if you move to the Caribbean. Overall, it's a great time to visit with mild temperatures and less humidity. 

Summer Weather in the Caribbean

Summer, from June to August, is hotter and more humid. Tourists and residents should expect temperatures to climb, with frequent rain showers and thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon. Sadly, a rainy day can easily overrun your fun in the sun during the summer months.  

But all you need is a little patience because June and July are usually a bit drier! That's your time to get outside and make the most of all the islands have to offer. But it doesn't last too long, and by August, you'll experience more rain and high humidity. 

Caribbean Weather in Fall

Don't expect sweater weather when you visit the Caribbean in autumn. From September to November, the weather is quite warm and humid, with temperatures dropping slightly from summer. September and October are the rainiest months and also the peak of hurricane season. However, by November, the weather begins to cool down and dry out a bit. 

The Caribbean Hurricane Season 

One thing all residents and visitors must be aware of is the Caribbean Hurricane Season. It runs from June 1 to November 30. During this time, the Caribbean is at a higher risk of hurricanes and tropical storms.
