Taylor Swift takes over Buenos Aires for three nights! If you have ever heard of the iconic Taylor Swift, you may know her fans as “Swifties.” Thousands of her fans filled the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires for Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour. And believe it or not, this was her first time performing in Argentina.
The Eras Tour
The Eras Tour is American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's sixth concert tour. She has described it as a journey through all her musical “eras.” An homage to her albums, the Eras Tour is her most expansive tour yet, with 151 shows across five continents.
The Argentina Concert
Fans were worried when it came show time. Taylor Swift canceled, but it was due to “truly chaotic weather,” and she assured her fans they would see her perform on Sunday instead of the scheduled Friday show.
Nov. 12th, 2023, was the last of a trio of shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The previous two concerts got acoustic versions of “The Very First Night” and “Labyrinth” for the first time on Nov. 9th, and an “Is It Over Now?” and”Out of the Woods” mashup with “End Game” on Nov. 11th.
The stadium was said to shake on Thursday night, with near-constant, ear-piercing screams coming from the more than 70,000 fans there who repeatedly chanted, “Olé, olé, olé, olé, Taylor, Taylor.” Even Ms. Swift, who has seen her share of huge crowds, seemed taken aback.
While in Argentina
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce went on a date Friday night in Argentina, where they were spotted holding hands heading into a restaurant inside the Four Seasons Hotel.
Many videos are circulating on social media showing the couple looking happy as clams as they head into what appears to be a private dining room.
