Things are slowly getting back to normal. Travel destinations all around the Caribbean are reopening and that’s including The Moorings have been in business since 1969 in Tortola, British Virgin Islands and are the leading charter company! The Moorings is owned by a global investment company called KKR. With the Moorings you can travel around the Caribbean from Antigua to Grenada. To lease sailing boats between 80ft – 120ft it will run you $20,000 to $50,000! But they aren’t just going to let anyone drive a boat. You need to submit a boating resume of your history on the water.

They aren’t just opening their doors, there are some protocol to be followed.

The Moorings plan to disinfect and sanitize each entire yacht upon returning and again after the next customers. The gallery will be packed in a sealed box with “eco-friendly single-use items” available for people to purchase. Also provided will be CSD (clean, sanitized, disinfected) linens, disinfectant spray, handwipes, and other sanitizing products.

The Moorings are also taking need precautions from their employees. This includes daily temperature checks, required PPE (personal protective equipment), and also have trained their staff to follow The Mooring CSD procedures.

Before snorkel gear was complementary but now unfortunately it is recommended that the traveler provides their own gear, or they can purchase them at the marina.
